MK (Minister Kenn) was born into a Christian family. The 6th of 10 children, he gave his life to christ at the age of 11 and committed his life to serving faithfully in the house of God. As a little child, MK found his calling when he was not allowed to join the kiddies choir at age 7; the pain and emptiness he felt as he watched other kids sing and glorify God was unexplainable. From that day he knew singing to glorify God was what he had been called to do; it was either music or nothing, he had found his purpose, this was what he was called to do - to serve God with the gift of music..

As a young teen, he joined the teens choir and learnt how to play the drums and bass guitar and after mastering these instruments, he self tutored himself on the piano. This explains the skill he possesses as a music director to work very well with musicians. Shortly after that, he discovered he could sing also and he put in the hard work rehearsing for hours and you can see the results from his rich tone.

Worked with gospel singers like Hope Davies and mentored by Sammie Okposo for whom he was a lead background vocalist for 8 years. He has travelled wide (Africa, Europe and America) to answer his calling. While working with Sammie Okposo, MK has done background vocals for international gospel acts Donnie Mcklurkin, Ron Kenoly and Detrick Haddon; MK has paid his dues and matured as a gospel singer. MK has shared the same stage with both local and foreign artists.

MK is a tool in Gods hands and he has a mandate to take Gods praises and put on the lips of all nations.

MK's debut album SOUND OF HEAVEN was launched in August 2013 and has been a source of blessing and inspiration to many who have listened to it.

He has been directing Music Director for over 20 years and today, having mentored many in gospel music, he serves as Minister-in-charge of worship at his home church: Davids Christian Centre in Lagos, Nigeria.

He is Happily married to his bestfriend and covenant partner Ebele and are blessed with two beautiful kids-Kendra and King.
